The life of Germany's rising tennis star, 23-year-old Louisa Herzog-Riggs has so far revolved only around tennis. She's worked really hard to get to this point in her career, and she is focused on her sport, her career, and little else.
After an injury forces her to take a much-needed break, she flies to Oahu to concentrate fully on her upcoming comeback at her godmother's tennis school. But that's not so easy because she encounters 23-year-old surfer boy Vince Greenfield on the beach every day during her daily run.
Vince has quit his job in Silicon Valley and wants to open a surfers' hostel on Oahu with his twin sister Laurie. Even though Vince has a completely different outlook on life, Louisa enjoys the light-heartedness that surrounds him.
